Holdings: The collection, which spans the years 1900 to the present, consists of the business and artistic records of the Shubert Brothers, the Shubert Organization, and various peripheral individuals and companies that have had dealings with Shubert. Materials include financial and legal records, correspondence, scripts, musical scores, sheet music, playbills, news clippings, costume and set designs, architectural plans, photographs, recordings, paintings, and memorabilia. In addition to theatrical materials, researchers will find much information related to business management, union and labor relations, trends in popular culture, and the history of Times Square.
